Our experienced team of in-house engineers utilizes the latest technology to provide our customers with a variety of professional engineering services. Using RISA-3D technology, we have the capabilities to design structural steel, foundations and masonry. In addition, we utilize DESCON for connection design (this program designs connections based on ASD or LRFD criteria as required by the AISC).

In conjunction with these engineering software packages, we utilize SDS/2 Detailing Software (3D modeling) to detail structural steel and connections. This detailing software is currently the only system that supports connections mathematically. We also have the capability to import designs from RISA-3D or other engineering software directly into SDS/2 for seamless and quick interface into detailing.

For the convenience of our customers, all engineering, approval and shop drawings can be submitted electronically via the internet. Once a project begins, we will issue the owner or engineering firm a username and password to access our FTP site – which allows for instant electronic data exchange and tracking of the project. We also offer customers 3D virtual tours of their structures. In addition, we have experience in utilizing POL systems provided by EPC firms.
